Lightweight mortar is the type of mortar which is prepared by mixing saw dust, rice husk, jute fibers, coirs, asbestos fibers etc. along with sand and lime or cement. Cinder mortar is a variety of light-weight mortars. Also, small quantities of glue or other adhesive materials are added to light weight mortar for developing adhesion.
